Case Problem - Law 17 - Instruction for case analysis


Read the Riggs National Bank of Washington v Linch case - riggs case


then post the following


1. who won - the real name of the person - not plaintiff, etc. -

2. why

3. legal principle

4. legal reasoning or rationale given by the court


Do not brief the case, use your own words, and just 3-4 sentences of explanation each for #3 legal principle and # 4 legal reasoning by the court. Points deducted if you do not follow the above abbreviated format. Who won must be the "actual name" of the party, and NOT "appellant"
